Help build a bike or two to make a child's Christmas spectacular

Remember that Christmas when you ran to the Christmas tree and saw the unmistakable silhouette of a bike leaning against the wall?

There's something inherently freeing about owning a bike, and when you're a kid that freedom is amplified tenfold.

This year, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) is partnering with the children's charity Act for Kids to donate bikes to disadvantaged children.

It's easier than ever to get involved and give a child that priceless excitement and freedom this Christmas.

An investment of just $300 will provide a bike, helmet and pump. You can even put together a team to build the bike, but if you're unable to attend the GCCEC will do the work on your behalf.

In return for the small donation you get to experience the fun of building a bike or two, joining the GCCEC for lunch afterwards, and helping make a child's Christmas one to really remember.

Join the GCCEC on 12 December and help put a smile on a child's face this Christmas.
